Bug Spray
Please remember when putting on your bug spray to do it in the parking lot. When you spray out on the golf course the spray kills the grass very quickly.

Great Shots
Scott Herrington strikes again! On Saturday, June 13th Scott aced #2 and just a month earlier Scott aced #16. Nancy Roberts had her first ever hole in one on Sunday, June 14th on Hole #18. Scholarship Fund The Scholarship Board is now up. You can win a free membership for 2010. Squares are $20 each. All monies go to returning university students who work at Barcovan. |
Members Opening Tournament Results This year's winners shot a sizzling 41.6 net to win the 2009 Title. The team consisted of Dave Snider, Jack Denyes, Paul Tehonchuck & Ene Bradshaw. 1st Low Gross - Ralph Leone, Barb Durnford & Chad Denyes. 2nd Low Net- Doug Bradshaw, Bob MaCassic, Peter Wasylak , Judy Fairman 2nd Low Gross- Bob Crews, Colin Mates, Nancy Roberts , Catherine Sutherland 3rd Low Net- Cory Walraven, Don Brightwell, Gloria Hewson , Paula Carson 3rd Low Gross- Randy Clarke, Ron Sayeau, Linda Denson, Irene Copland Twilight League Opening Tournament Winners of the twilight league tournament are Joe Oram, Carl Umb, Dale Canfield and George Hamilton.Junior Girls Ontario Championship Please note that on Tuesday July 21, 22, and 23rd, the junior girls championship will be played at Barcovan. The golf course will be closed for those 3 days. We do have some reciprocal playing privileges at golf courses around the area and in the GTA.
