Members Opening Tournament
The Members Opening Tournament is on Sunday, June 7, 12:30 shot-gun start. There is still room for 3 more people. Anyone who is not signed up please see Linda, Greg or Steve in the clubhouse.
Bug Spray
Please remember when putting on your bug spray to do it in the parking lot. When you spray out on the golf course the spray kills the grass very quickly.
Thanks again,

As you are already aware of the changes of the handicap procedure here at Barcovan, we the handicap committee would like to express our thanks for your efforts in helping us to make this new system a success. We are aware of some glitches that have occurred and would appreciate your assistance so that we may address them.
Just to explain a little about our mission, in this process we are attempting to make the playing field fair for all players. As a golfing member of any golf club, you are responsible for posting your score each and every time you play a round of golf. The Handicap Committee has been given the responsibility to monitor this activity through review of the score cards in relationship to daily tee sheets and games entered, which reflects tee-times and no subsequent score posted in the handicap computer. Through this review, it is determined who has not posted scores. Non-postings may occur for various reasons: scramble, or shamble or some form of modified game, also health or weather related issues. To help us account for some of these, it would be helpful if you would continue to input your score and place your score card in the box by the computer. An unfinished game can still be recorded as either a 9 hole game or can be completed to make an 18 hole score. We realize that posting the score on the day played may not be possible, BUT you can still post you score at a later time by just adjusting the date played on the computer (option 2). It is very important to have the correct date. To assist us in our operation could you please follow these guidelines for the score cards:
We would like to get things organized and up and running commencing June 1, 2009. Thank you again for you cooperation.
